EDGE Reed Blake-Thomas 2025 All-American Brighton HS (MI) 6'1", 215 GPA - 3.25 All-American notes - All-American notes - Top 2025 OLB/EDGE recruit Reed Blake-Thomas proved to be a significant force up front when wreaking havoc in the oppositions backfield & he possesses the overall athletics that project extremely well as an edge rusher or hybrid-DE with his instinctual ball tracking capabilities. Blake-Thomas utilizes excellent technique in the trenches by gaining leverage on his opponent with outstretched arms & is able to quickly detach while keeping his eyes in the backfield on play developing to ferociously bring ball carriers to a screeching halt in the run game. Reed also has very impressive agility while fighting through blockers and is able to propel back to the inside to close off gaps on the interior line with his excellent “bend” when scraping down the line of scrimmage. His combative & violent hands combined with his stellar ability to hold ground when taking on double teams give him the capabilities to extend the edge, as well as shutdown power running plays with his brutalizing style of play in the trenches. His excellent closing speed when creating pressure and zooming down the line of scrimmage could see him excel in the future as a pass rusher who can also be utilized in zone coverage drops with his excellent hip flexion and overall mobility. DE Gus Ritchey 2025 ALL-AMERICAN Northwood HS (NC) 6'4",225 GPA - 3.5 Player notes - 2025 Top DE/ATH Recruit Gus Ritchey is an explosive edge rusher who uses his immense amount of strength to collapse the pocket and is able to maintain outstanding leverage out on the edge to shutdown the running game. Ritchey also is utilized in the backfield as a running back and is a brutalizing downhill runner, who is able to break through would-be tacklers with his physicality to gain extra yards after contact. He is a very sound tackler as a top 2025 DE recruit and exhibits violent hands when detaching from opposing offensive linemen, while proving to have the ability to quickly detach to bring ball carriers aggressively to the turf. Gus also has outstanding lateral movement and is able to quickly scrape down the line of scrimmage on outside & inside run plays to bring running backs abruptly to the ground. His 6’4”, 225 pound frame could very well transition into a very fierce OLB/EDGE recruit at the collegiate level, as he possesses the overall athleticism to be able to cover from sideline to sideline. On tape, Louis is able to create instant penetration into the opposing teams backfield with his quick first step and gain instant leverage on his opponent en-route to wreaking havoc on opposing teams ball carriers. He also proves to have the versatility needed to excel as a pass rusher or run stuffer at any position on the defensive front, as his highly disruptive style of play will see him rise up recruiting boards nationally. The trench monster out of NJ is also a dominating offensive guard and one of the more ferocious pulling guards in his class, as he is able to completely pulverize defenders upon engagement.
