Well you can try contacting sports agents who have never heard of you, or you can go back to the lab and create a another plan to maybe garner the attention of somebody that can actually and constructively help you out. You are not going to be able to do this without traveling to what I like to call "hot spots." Attending events such as the Senior Bowl or NFL Combine are crucial and you're surely not going to make it simply from playing in today's indoor/arena game.
I like to use the James Harrison model for my aspiring post-collegiate players, as he endlessly endured vicious pain and maintained a burning desire to become the beast that he is today. James defied the odds yet was a player who had no following after departing Kent State.
James was able to separate himself in the weight room with a rebellious yet committed attitude, as he knew what he had inside and he transformed his body into a HIGH OCTANE MACHINE, point blank.
Approaching and venturing into his 40s, James has not missed a beat and is still absolutely dominating his opponents. Epic dedication with tangible results, what a novel idea.
So you say you've got the juice? Well, how are you going to be seen and catch someone's eye that can either sign you, or really propel you to the next level?
The simplistic answer is you travel the United States and the rest of the world giving back to the game that you so deeply want to play and as a result better our game overall. The simplistic answer is you help local athletes in your area get college football scholarships and then attend my Pro/Free Agent workout in Mobile, Alabama.
We also will be visiting Indianapolis to explore the NFL Combine and forge solid connections and HAND DELIVER your highlight film.
That is what I did this year with Thomas McGaughey, the Special Teams Coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. We will guide each athlete to the proper representation and give them multiple options, if the athlete is committed and ultimately qualified.
Below I will be showcasing our Pro Free Agent/NFL Draft 2018 Mentors/Players. Each athlete that signs with Scout Trout Enterprises is given the opportunity to be a Scout. Sharing, teaching and demonstrating your superior knowledge of the game of football is all some of you need to do to be seen as top flight coaches in this game. We provide several avenues to ensure you are successful. Additionally, we intend and strive to exhaust all options, in order to further both our individual futures and the future of football in it's entirety.
James Harrison didn't even get a scholarship when he enrolled at Kent State. He was a strong high school player, being eyed by some of the big college football powerhouses, when he got into trouble in school. The powerhouses crossed him off their list. He was what you call a "walk on" at Kent State. When he graduated there in 2002, he did not get drafted by the NFL. The scouts thought he didn't have what it takes.
QB Jesse Guajardo
attending NFL Combine Training
Jesse had unforeseen circumstances and had to leave college early due to a death in the family. He stepped up and had to help his family out, hence having to depart from the Hawkeyes early. Being granted permission to leave, he started playing Semi-Pro football and dominating the circuit. Jesse is hungry and eager to develop more and attain a NFL or CFL contract in the future. Jesse will also be entering the 2018 NFL Draft and declaring special eligibility. See you in October bro!
DL Marcus Bagley
NFL Draft Class 2014
NFL Camp Dallas Cowboys
2014 Un-Drafted Free Agent
AFL - Jacksonville Sharks
IFL - Green Bay Blizzard
Marcus Bagley has been a outstanding ball player and athletic specimen since the day he stepped onto the football field. Marcus has a burning passion for the game of football and most importantly helping our youth, as a High School Football Coach. At his UTEP pro day, Marcus put up a remarkable 28 reps on bench press and busted off a 5.09, 40 yard dash! Marcus has been posting workout videos and after getting invited to the Dallas Cowboys Mini Camp, knows what the expectations are to produce in the NFL. He consistently impresses me with his football IQ and his overall athleticism-for such a big man it is always fun to watch. I want to sincerely thank Marcus for being apart of the Scout Trout Team of Coaches and Mentors!
I know for a fact that I am capable of going out on the field and making my presence felt. I have great work ethic, I'm punctual, pay attention to detail, relentless, and I'm loyal! If I can get that one opportunity, that one shot, I know that I will prove I have what it takes to be great and represent my family on that field!!
