Seth Prestage impressed me with his ability to quickly pick up the Scout Trout techniques and implemented them, in order to reel off some amazing combine numbers! His coverage skills in my workout on DEC,16th at Sage park, were tremendous and I am extremely excited to add him to the soon to be released Scout Trout Class of 2019 BEAST roster and see the results of his persistent hard work, through Scout Trout's pipeline program. Seth was able to run a 4.5, 40 yard dash, while performing high in the shuttle with a 4.1 and a 9' broad jump. His cover skills, along with his counterpart yesterday Jimmy Bates, are some of the best I have seen for the Class of 2019 nationally from my LB's, as they are able to stay in the receivers hip pocket, while extending their long arms and are able to know the tendencies of the receivers, to be able to turn and make deflections. When I turn on Seth's tape, I can see the athleticism that is translated onto the gridiron and now that he is mastering the details of his craft, I expect this young man to be a big time prospect with the body of work he has amassed in his young career. Seth was so quick and strong, that he played NOSE TACKLE this season, even at 170LBs, that tells me that this young man is not only extremely athletically gifted, but he is also one tough cookie to be able to line up in the trenches and not only hold his own, but DOMINATE the interior linemen and create havoc in the backfield. The third play (1:11) of Prestage's magnificent highlight's, you will witness his ability to come down hill, as a blitzing LB and is able to easily avoid the fullback, with superior quickness and strength, to create a QB sack! The very next play, Seth is lined up at LB again and shows EXTREME quickness in getting to the football, to make the QB throw the ball away, knowing he has no chance if #2 is coming free. I really value the way Seth uses stellar tackling technique, that will benefit him heavily in the collegiate football world, as players who are caught targeting will be penalized severely. He keeps his head up and is able to fully hone his sight's in on his target, while being able to wrap up perfectly and continues to drive his feet, to finish the tackle. Seth is lined up at Nose, at around 3:30 into his magnificent footage and is able to shoot the gap so fast, that he is on the QB in a flash! When projecting upside on a young man, you have to look at where he comes from. His father played ball as well and has coached him into a fine young football player. His football coaches have done a great job in utilizing his skill set in a diverse way and teaching him how to finish the job! I am extremely pleased to welcome Seth Prestage to our Pipeline Platinum Elite training program, that is combined with our Scout Trout All-American Bowl events. We have one goal at Scout Trout and that is to CHANGE THE GAME, by using game changing players that want to climb to the mountaintop with the Scout Trout Militia. In the end, hard work, combined with talent, with expert coaching, will prove to eclipse the competition, time and time again!
