THE LITTLE THINGS!When it comes to the other 33 percent of Football, most people tend to forget that it makes the other 66 percent run efficiently and the 1 percent lose thier minds. See Special Teams is the ULTIMATE way of setting a tone in a Football game, it is also a fabulous way to END a game. I did not start off playing Special Teams in pop-warner until my FOOT found the ball. Then it seemed like I never took a play off, at any position, ever since. Why is that? Special Teams you can prove yourself to not only your Coach, but your entire TEAM. You can show them how bad you really want it! Most Special Teamers are not starters, they have chips on thier shoulders and they want to take what's rightfully thiers. In short, Special Teams is a way to literally crack open the SKULL of Politics! Chances are going into College as Freshmen, you are not going to be a starter. They want you to "Develop" and "mature" some, BUT YOU WANNA PLAY! Best way to show them you belong on the field is throwing perfect blocks on return and HEADHUNTING on Kickoff. Safety is a big concern in the NFL/NCAA today so "HEADHUNT", as safely as possible. Honestly I never understood how any man carrying a ball and another man tackling him, in any fashion could be deemed safe, but what do I know, I just played Football for over 22 years now. Anyways that is a another topic, for another day! Special Teams is the nuts and bolts of Football, whether you like it or not. Most games Start and End with a Special Teams play and if your a QB/P you better be able to hold a Pig Skin. In the Kicking game, every fine detail really does matter! For instance if the holder is off just one inch from the spot you took your steps from, it can effect the ball 3-4 feet at it's end result, depending on how far away you are. Most Snap, Hold and Kick operations are mastered at around 1.2-1.3 Seconds, sometimes slower and sometimes faster. So when you have a guy like Dalton Fisher, who is coming off the edge and getting to the block in 1.4 Seconds, you have NO room for error. This is why I love Special Teams, It teaches us about the LITTLE THINGS in Football and we can translate that to our every day lives. See I have learned that mastering all of the FINE DETAILS will produce HUGE results. Some of us mastered Special Teams so well, that the next year we became a Middle (MAC) Linebacker in Arena Football (ME). I actually found Linebacker to be a much easier position, to master the details and to be able to dominate. The reason being most opponents do not have the "Details" mastered yet and are using "RAW" Talent to try and stop you. Well we all know how this turned out, I was able to achieve over 20 tackles in 2 games playing, while suffering a massive concussion on a 55 yard DROP KICK TRY! I even got my first ever SAFETY against West Texas! I have always been a great athlete, but once I started to fine tune myself and my game, I now step on the field knowing I cannot be stopped. Your mind set has to change to a "SPECIAL" mind-set to achieve overall greatness in life. Mastering every detail is first and setting small goals everyday, once you crush those you start making bigger goals. But we must also remember thier are MILLIONS of things to master first, before we can start on a pursuit of chasing perfection. Because that is all your going to do, is just chase it. Some will come close to grabbing it and then fall far from it. Our main goal must be to strive to make the little things all perfect, than we will watch bigger things occur on a daily basis. Tanner only got to play one half of every game and still managed to develop amazing timing with his Receivers, completing 83 our of 130 passes for 1387 yards and 13 TD's! Tanner shows very good Dual-Threat capabilities and also has rushed for over 500 yards with 7 more TD's. Tanner throws the ball with very good technique and squares his shoulders well to push the ball downfield. He shows a excellent release and waste no time getting the ball out of his hand, when delivering the ball from the pocket. Tanner shows a very aggressive running style and can lower his shoulder to get those pivotal first downs, moving the chains with effectiveness. Tanner is one of those QB's who keeps drives alive with the intangibles he possesses and I really like him in a College Style Offense! He has uncanny accuracy for a Class of 2019 QB and will be a highly sought after prospect when the time comes. Jared shows very good ball skills and is able to recover very quickly, after identifying the reverse pass. I really l like his hip movements and his ablity to flip his hips, from one direction to the other. This is a trait that only the best DB's have, as you must be able to stay on the Receivers hip without knowing his final destination. He is a very smart ball player and boasts a 3.0 GPA. These type of ball hawking players can be used all over the Defensive backfield and they will take advantage of every Quarterback's mistake. He is very good at disloding the football and has supreme agility in his back pedal. At around 2:15 into his highlight's, Jared shows his "bunnies" and really goes up to make a game changing pass deflection. The next play exemplifies how you are supposed to play man to man coverage in the red zone. Jared is able to stay drapped on the Receiver staying on his inside hip and is able to make a awesome play on the ball. This skill alone is a highly valued asset in the pass happy world of College Football. Jared also shows me in this film that he never gives up on a play and has a very good motor. He also shows he can come up on the run and de-tach from on coming blockers, while being able to locate the ball and make the tackle. Any back that goes for 1714 yards and 34 TD's is not only a ELITE back in Arizona, but on a national scale. I really love the way this young man plays the game of Football and on the first return on his film he shows great speed, taking the ball all the way to the house! On the next play, I start my clock when he starts at the 20 yard line and stop the clock after the first 40 yards is covered. I have gotten a 4.4 exactly for his opening 40 yard sprint, in a real game. He is then able to hit the cut back lane with ferociousness and take the ball once more for a Touchdown. At Running Back, Cobb knows how to use his extreme athletic prowess to get through the hole very quickly and than good luck catching him! As a Wildcat back, Cobb is extremely elusive and has the power to match! At 2:37 into the highlight's, you see him break through tackles and not be denied the score! Yakir is extremely good at moving in and out on the run, which makes him extremely hard to target for defenders. These running tactics are super effective because he is not losing momentum and he makes it really hard on defenders. When you combine his 4.4 speed, you start to see why this guy is a ELITE prospect ,out of the State of Arizona. Cobb also has very good field vision and utlizes cut back lanes, while finding the proper running alley's. The run at 4:48 starts to make me think he has a little Barry Sanders in him! He breaks ankles and than is able to find the alley once more for a big gain! Another run that needs to be in the front of his film, is this one at 6:22. If you are holding something put it down, I just spilled my Coffee. This young man could very well be a Sanders like back, after watching one of the best runs you will see in all of High school Football. This was the last piece I needed for the Class of 2017 to be able to contend with my Database in a major conference. I will be announcing my lineup and how I would use each chess piece to DOMINATE, any oppenent in 1AA,D2,NAIA. Like I said we are just competing with the ACC right now. Give us a few more months thou and were going to be taking it the the Big Ten/SEC/Big12 and Pac12. That being said Rugby players are some of the TOUGHEST, SMARTEST and most HUMBLE players in all of sports, from my experience around the sport. If your lucky enough to find a QB who has played this thrilling sport at a high level, you truly will have a diamond in the rough. Lachlan made a choice to chase his dream of playing College Football in America and made the trip to Florida. There were many road block's in his attempt to find a home and he landed at Berean Christian. On the first throw of his "small highlight's", he uses very good footwork and is able to throw a perfect pass up the sideline. Knowing Lachlan is a 4.6 guy with no training in the 40, I believe he is even faster than that. Lachlan was known in Rugby for having a very quick release and shows a very quick release from the pocket. On the 3rd play, you really can see the Rubgy player in him, as he is able to catch his own pass and than wiggle through traffic for a very long score. Lachlan is very efficient in the option game and once again uses that Rugby style play, to create a beautiful option attack. Lachlan has a mind-set that he will succeed at a very high level and it has become a way of life. Once he sets a task, he not only completes it, he does it with a Rugby like attitude. I explained what that attitude was and if you do not want that on your Football team, than you really do not know the game of Football. Lachlan shows very good abilities throwing the ball on the run and can square his shoulders, being able deliver the ball with supreme accuracy. If you time his release from catch to throw on short routes, he delivers the ball in less than 1 second, which is a EXTREMELY quick release. Lachlan has been attending the Mastrole Passing academy twice a month and you can see it majorly paying off. You can tell Lachlan is a sponge when it comes to mechanics, as he is able to throw the ball with his entire body, while using a proper throwing angle. I have attached a very thorough and accurate evaluation by QBHitList.com and cannot agree more with their synopsis. I also am attaching his 2015 U19 National Champion Film below. Thus far Lachlan has been in communication with UC Davis, St.Anselm, Stetson, Assumption, Dordt, Hobart, Bethany (KS) and Denison. At 6'1,195 lbs , Jaden is able to run extremely good routes in his film and has impeccable hands! He shows very good speed getting down field and is able to make great "high pointing" grabs, over the top of defenders. Jaden is a very good all-around Receiver that can be used in multiple packages and situations. He is great as a outside Receiver and runs routes very efficiently, which makes him able to play on the inside as well. With his physical stature he could also be moved to the Tight-End position, after he grows through College. He is extremely good at focusing on the ball and making the grab in traffic, as well as getting his shoulders squared and not wasting time getting down field. His game speed is best seen on the fade route, at 1:50 into his magnificient tape. On intermediate routes he is able to knowingly create separation by working back to the Quarterback. As you can see when the RB postion of the tape starts, Wasilla got a new Coach. This new offense was obvioulsy not condusive for catching the Football and he was handed the ball. I am not a fan of this basic, simplistic, non deceptive offense and neither are the ball players who run it. I will have to do a article of the RELIC called the Wing- T offense. Anyways as I tell all our Athlete's, Control what you can Control! Jaden was able to still make a significant impact with the ball in his hands and is really a Elite Total Football Prosepct, from the GREAT State of Alaska! Jaden is also very good as a Defensive back, he truly shows his over athleticism and is able to read plays to quickly break on the Football. I really like this young man for the world of College Football and I cannot wait to send out his mail tonight! You were one of the top players in your State and everybody is asking you where you are going to school? Whose been talking to you? Man why don't you do here? Everyone thinks they know best for you. The issue is, THEY DON'T! They don't gotta spend the next 4 years in study halls, lectures and THE WEIGHT ROOM! They do not have to get up at 5AM for a "Mystery Run", they also don't have girls hanging all over them and they also aren't in the lime light! They are trying to live out your dreams for you. Homies, Boys, friends man keep them close still, dont become so wrapped up in yourself that you forget where you came from. But also know they have not put in those long hours to become the ANIMAL you have become. Your parents are going to be your best friend in the recruiting process, WHY? I thought my parents were wrong about a ton of stuff to, BUT THEY HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST! THEY RAISED YOU! THEY KNOW YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE! If you have a relationship with God ( I sure do), PRAY about it, instead of complaining on social media that nobody wants you or your overlooked. I bet that will go a lot further than your complaints to the people who are STILL EVALUATING YOU! See I have learned their ARE ALOT of you out there, so you can seperate yourself one of two ways. You can go back into the weight room/field or you can go complain some more and fall off some Coaches Boards. We have enough attitudes and ego's in football, Most College Coaches want the guy who is going to STUDY the game and learn thier ways. Which is how to they got to where they are, so you better listen! It is not "MY WAY, OR THE HIGHWAY", we must be willing to sacrifice ourselves for the betterment of our Team and UNIVERSITIES! This will create a winning tradition at your program and you will rise to where you wanna be. Their are many path's to get from point A to point Z, but some are a lot more succesful than others. Be VIGILIANT in everything you do in a calculated way that leaves nothing to chance. Be humble in everything you do and show compassion towards everyone you meet. Then go out there and show them why they signed you. This is what College Coaches and Admistrators want at their Universities.
