The Ramsey Sites Class of 2018 All-American D1 BEATDOWN!

Ramsey Sites has moved to the top of Scout Trout's board of Defensive Tackles with Tykeem Doss for one simple reason, he DOMINATED a man who was Tykeem's size, while  using his amazing strength and technique to turn into a savage last Friday night at Oak Hill High School, in Ohio. I want to thank John Sites for allowing us into their amazing circle of individuals who want to see the same change we do and our about the Student-Athlete first. I believe whole hardheartedly that they pick the biggest, with the largest wing span first, because the Collegiate coaches themselves have somehow become absorbed with stats instead of FACTS. Ramsey was able to move a man against his will and help his team achieve a victory against the East Portsmouth Tartans. Knowing that Brady Douthat is a prime-time D1 Quarterback, the game plan had to be to keep the ball out of his magical hands and create pressure on the mini GOAT in training. Ramsey was able to do this against a Linemen with over 30 Division One offers and made his large frame that of a child in Scout Trout's eyes. That kid needs serious work on technique and footwork or he will be seriously exposed at the next level. I am not one to talk down on high school ball players, but just know, Scout Trout can change these negatives into a prime time NFL Blind Side Tackle if you adapt to the grind. Ramsey Sites is probably the most coordinated big man I have ever met in person. I have played with 100's of NFL players and have been around those who played football at the highest level. I will be utilizing Ramsey as a Fullback for this reason at the 2018 Scout Trout All-American Game, while I watch my young bucks spread their wings and fly off to the BIG TIME! Me and Jesse our still sitting 5 hours away and are not heading back west after we have found a hot bed of talent in the Southern Ohio corridor. We will now be calling this corridor of America home and bringing ANY athlete that wants to work with us, to whatever mountaintop they desire. Caleb Johnson, Brady Douthat, Braxton Williams, Tylor Taylor and Darrick Boggs will be highlighted as we continue to grind at Mexican Restaurants across the United States.

Ramsey's stats, not counting Friday night's Alpha Male performance. #ScoutTrout #AlphaMale #BallersOnly

40 Tackles, 3 Sacks, 15 QB Hurry's, 2 Forced Fumbles, 2 Recovered, 38 Pancakes and most importantly 23-26 on PAT's.

Jeremi Massey Jr Class 2019  6'1,175LB ATH  Notre Dame HS Riverside HS (CA)

Picture
Jeremi Massey comes to us from Riverside California and hails from Notre Dame High school. Jeremi Massey is a electric receiver and has even been strong enough to line up as a Defensive End. He played extremely well on the D-Line and when you see him carry the football, you see a speedy back who can chew up yards with his 6'1, 175LB frame. On the defensive side of the ball, Massey is capable of getting instant pressure on the Quarterback and gets to the Quarterback very quickly for a sack at around :43 seconds. The next play against Hillcrest, he is able to create more instant pressure with his great quickness and gets a very impressive QB hurry, which ends in a errant pass. Once Massey gets his shoulders turned up field, he hits the hole extremely quickly and is able to chew up valuable yards for his offense. Jeremi fits the mold of your typical receiver, as he is 6'1 and closing in on 180lbs. Jeremi can line up at WR/RB/SLOT and as you seen on Defense, as a great speed rushing Defensive End. I am extremely excited for this young man's future and I cannot wait to see what happens next! Great job bro and I will see you in Mobile, Alabama at the largest scouting event of the year! Brandon Rudolph 5'9,180LBS  Class 2018 Hillcrest High School (AL) - All American Report

Picture
Brandon Rudolph comes to us from Hillcrest HS in Alabama and has excepted his invitation as a Scout Trout All-American. With game changing instincts on a football field, while possessing great speed. Brandon is primed to put a show in Mobile and I am sure the world of College Football will be very pleased when turning on this young man's tape. With over 6,254 views on his hudl, Brandon is able to show his extreme speed in this year's mid-season highlight's first play and take the ball all the way for a touchdown, as a kickoff return man. The next play, Brandon is able to make a game changing interception and take it almost 80 yards back the other way. Brandon is a excellent route runner and shows great agility, when coming in and out of his breaks. He is a deep threat as you will see in his film and is able to really stretch the defense, over the top. He also excels in the short passing game and is able to create massive yards after catch (YAC). Evaluating Brandon as a defensive back, Rudolph shows great ability in making stellar "High Pointing" Interceptions. Operating in the "Quick Screen game", Brandon is able to make very elusive moves, while maintaining positive yardage. With stellar academics (3.4,21ACT), I see no reason why this young man can not be a ELITE game changing player for any College Football team. If you are looking for a stellar athlete, who excels on both sides of the football, while also being electric in the return game, then you are in the right place, as Brandon Rudolph has proved to be a ELITE All-american athlete for our Scout Trout Senior Bowl Showcase/Game.

Gerald Shepard Jr 6'0,165LBS S/OLB  Robbindale-Armstrong HS (MN) - All American REport

Picture
Gerald Shepard Jr is a dynamic defensive back out of Robbinsdale-Armstrong High School, who has accepted his invitation as a Class of 2019 All-American. While traveling from Ohio, I was able to use my hot spot, while on the road to complete Gerald's mailing list. As soon as I got to Illinois, Shepard had already received a great email from Bucknell University and then the prestigious Princeton University in New Jersey. Gerald is a very solid tackling machine for Robbinsdale-Armstrong and exhibits the ability to play up in the box. Gerald will be lining up at either Strong Safety or Safety, as in my Defensive scheme both of these players are interchangeable. He come down from the safety position extremely fast, after identifying run and has great closing speed to the football. One of the most impressive plays comes at around 2:05 into high highlight's, as Gerald comes off the right side, while lined up in the box once again and is able to completely hawk the defender down from the backside, with and amazing motor/speed. Lined up in what seems to be a wide nine type scheme, Gerald is extremely quick to the ball and is almost automatic at identifying run or pass. I would like to point out that Gerald is using great tackling technique and is great at wrapping up the most important part of the runners, the legs. This is a form of the hog tied technique I teach here at Scout Trout and I believe with more constant improvement, that Gerald is destined for greatness in the prestigious world of College Football. I want to thank Gerald and his family for signing him up for the Pipeline Program and our All-American events in Mobile,Alabama. Keep Grinding Bro, let's shoot for the stars and reach the next galaxy together as one unit.

Scout Trout TV Elite Prospect Ohio/Illinois Road Show.

Scout Trout will be arriving in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to meet up with his Pro Quarterback in training/Offensive Coordinator, Jesse Guajardo jr. The two will be heading 8 hours south to the area Scout Trout had his most successful regional mini camp in Oak Hill, Ohio. Ohio has been a hot bed of talent for Scout Trout and we have had a slew of early offers already for our Class of 2018 All-American's and even our young phenom Darrick Boggs, who is in 7th grade, has been receiving mail from some pretty prestigious Universities. Darrick is a extremely hard working young man and is researching the fine Ivy League school's that have been gloating about their prestigious Universities. Texas Christian University has even sent mail Darrick's way, as you will see above in his slideshow of his recent mail. We will be covering his youth game Thursday to prepare us for the main event, which will feature three Scout Trout Prospects in one location. We have three very diverse prospects to cover, who will all be playing College Football and all have unique skill set's. We will also be looking for new prospects to bring on to the Scout Trout Enterprises Militia, to continue building the future of football. After we conclude in the great state of Ohio, we will be heading back to the home of All-State Linebacker Braxton Williams and Tylor Taylor to do some Scout Trout training video's with Coach Jesse Guajardo jr.

East Portsmouth Vs Oak Hill (OH)

This match-up features two Scout Trout All-American Quarterback's in Caleb Johnson and Brady Douthat, who just happen to train during the off-season together and are best friends. East Portsmouth runs more of a passing style of offense and Brady Douthat has been simply brilliant on the gridiron, to be able to lead his team to a 5-1 record. Brady has been accumulating offers almost weekly and looks to build on his impressive resume. His buddy Caleb Johnson has also been offered by various Collegiate institutions and demonstrates a rocket-cannon arm, that has helped lead his team to a 4-2 overall record. Ramsey Sites will be anchoring the defensive line for the Oak Hill Oaks and is probably the quickest/most athletic Defensive Linemen we have overall in our Scout Trout database. Ramsey has been dominating his opponents and has over 50 tackles and 8 sacks halfway through the season. Ramsey will have to supply ample pressure, as Brady has put up 865 yards passing with 18 Touchdown's to only 3 interceptions. With a 60% completion percentage and averaging 5.3 yards per carry with another 4 touchdowns, it will be pivotal for Oak HIll to get pressure on this dyanmic athlete. I want to wish both teams a fair, fun and competitive game, while understanding the honor you have to play this prestigious game at any level.

Highlight's of Jesse preparing can be found below, he is currently constructing our Scout Trout 2018 playbook and will be coordinating at our event. Jesse is very adept when it comes to different styles of offenses ran at the next level and will be a key part in the development of our young Quarterback's who are attending the event. Jesse has a very strong arm as you will see below and delivers very accurate throws down field. He is very mobile in the pocket and given the opportunity at the pro level, will flourish for his team, on and off the field. Jesse has a winning attitude and it is apparent in his dedication and desire to succeed at a high level. Jesse and I will be calling both games live on Scout Trout Radio and Facebook Live, while we finish piecing together the playbooks for our events. Our first 50 game jersey's have been ordered and will be being worked on the rest of this month. Our original timeline was Halloween and after Scout Trout faced many dilemma's with extortion/theft from ex-partners, we are on track to have our first batch done by Thanksgiving. Our playbook's on the other hand, have been accelerated and will be issued in the next week or two, after condensing these NFL playbook's down, so our players can grasp the concepts.

We will be hosting live radio shows tomorrow evening and all weekend with our Ohio prospects in the area. We also will be streaming the contests live on my Facebook page and embedding the videos to the web site. Last year, Scout Trout had over 800 coaches tune in for the Colorado State 3A Championship! This year should be even better with the quality of prospects we will be covering, out of the GREAT FOOTBALL STATE OF OHIO!

Trevor Thompson 6'1,175LB RB/OLB Lake COunty Christian HS (TX)

Trevor Thompson comes to us from Fort Worth, Texas and is the hammer for the Lake County Christian Football team, on Offense and Defense! When you watch Trevor's hudl (I provided my Hudl Log-in in email), you will see ball carriers run into a stout BRICK WALL, as they appear to collapse right to the ground upon contact with this young brute. When lined up at Strong Safety, Trevor can be seen attacking the ball, after reading pass and makes a destuctive play on the receiver. Trevor plays very well in the box and is able to get up field quickly to make plays in the backfield, after identifying the running play. As a Running Back, Trevor is most importantly a tough runner and is able to break tackles, while being capable of ripping off the big touchdown run for his team. His speed, accelearation and vision are able to propel him into the open field, while gaining valuable chunks of yardage for his team. Trevor is able to make a amazingly coordinated play and somehow brings in a tipped ball for a interception, while proceeding to take the ball all the way for a touchdown! Trevor shows great ability as a pass catcher out of the backfield and is certainly a All-Around football player, that deserves a invite to the Scout Trout All-American Showcase-Game in Mobile,Alabama! I am nominating Trevor as a OLB/SS for our game and am excited about the upside on this young man for the next level, as he possesses all of the skill needed to be a BIG TIME College Football player, at any level! Thanks for signing up with Scout Trout and may you have a fantastic rest of the season in the great football State of Texas!

Scout Trout - The Analysis of NIck Folk - Bucs Kicking Game

10/6/2017

I have learned throughout my 25 years of kicking a football effectively and now better than anyone else in the Universe, that maintaining proper body control is pivotal to develop consistent, yet powerful, accuracy. In order to do this, you must be a master of your mind, as I describe in my article "Defining your process", which I will link below. First, let me break down the technique errors on the three kicks seen above, and then show you the right way, at the bottom of the page. I notice that Nick's hips are definitely in front of shoulders on all three disastrous kicks, which are leaving Jameis Winston bewildered because of the simplicity of making a accurate kick. Former NFL standout Kicker Jay Feely, commented that Folk had missed about 6 kicks in the direction he struggled from in warm ups. With that being the case, it appears that Nick "loaded up" on this first kick and tried to give it the extra strength needed, instead of trusting his technique and kicking the ball with his full-body. Because he missed so widely to the right on the 56 yard field goal, he follows through very choppily; and because he is trying so hard to keep his head "down", he ends up creating lean into the football. This ends up causing the kicker to not have enough room between the ball and his foot, to make adequate contact in the right positioning of the foot (If that makes any sense). The third kick was only from 31 yards, which is an automatic kick for most adult kickers, let alone highly paid NFL Kickers. This kick is filmed much closer and you can really see where Mr.Folk went wrong. In my opinion, Nick should not be using a "stutter" step if he is going to over extend it that far. This causes the plant to end up too deep, and in pressure situations, many forget that this step cannot exceed a "stutter". I typically use more of a rhythmic "tap", to simulate the technique tweak I have made since going to kicking with a barefoot. On this third and final atrocious kick, that is leaving Gerald McCoy speechless, Nick once again "cracks" at the waist and leans into the football. Nick's hips come through and swing right to where the ball winds up going, and he watches it miss the entire way. As you will see in the video below, The LA Chargers kicker is struggling with the exact same dilemma.

There comes a time in a man's life when you must admit that you are not adequately prepared for the task at hand. Nick Folk appears to be out of shape, and I credit that to his recent fall off, as I have been told by older kickers, "there are only so many shots in the cannon". When the body begins to wear down and you know in your head that you cannot physically get the job done, you tend to overdue things, which causes errant golf shots and missed kicks. It very clearly shows that sports agents call the shots, and egregious kicking coaches, who are either becoming ancient in our game or never actually even did the act at a high level. The Buccaneers are about to workout the likes of kickers who have also failed miserably in the past and cycle through the same circle of mud, because of the severe lack of knowledge on what it takes to succeed at a high level as a Professional Kicker.

Dylan Vaniel 6'2,270LB OL/DL/LS Class 2019 McKeesPort HS (PA) - Steel Curtain Report

Dylan Vaniel comes to us from McKeesport High School, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, where my father played for the Pitt Panthers and Steelers. I am extremely excited to present a true "Steel Curtain" Hog, as this area has produced some of the best to ever play in the trenches. Russ Grimm, who played at the University of Pittsburgh comes to mind when watching Dylan operate in such a efficient manner, as a Offensive linemen on the gridiron. Russ is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. When Dylan is called upon to "cut block", he executes the technique extremely well, which translates to a run-oriented/option offense (GA TECH/NAVY). When the hole is designed to be opened on his side, Dylan easily pushes the defender off the ball and turns him the proper direction, via play design. Dylan is lined up at right tackle at 1:00 into his mid-season highlight's, where you will see him create a massive push off the line of scrimmage and Dylan ride the defender all the way to the sideline. On the very next play, Dylan shows how quick he can get to the second level and seal off the linebacker, to create a massive lane for McKeesport's ball carrier. At 1:18 into Dylan's film, you will see his pass rushing ability as a Defensive Tackle, as he is able to get to the Quarterback for a sack. Dylan is also a very gifted long snapper and I evaluated his snaps as some of the best I have seen at the High School level. He is firing them extremely accurately and I digitally timed them anywhere from .2 tenth's of a second, to around .3 tenths, which is the NFL's standard.  Dylan has committed to attending our Scout Trout 2018 All-American Showcase/game and has earned the title All-American with his stellar play. Thanks for joining Scout Trout and keep working hard!

Jace Sutherland 6'0,318LB OL/DL Apollo HS (KY) - All-American Report

Picture
Jace Sutherland comes to us from Owensboro, Kentucky from Apollo High School, where he is a dominant interior linemen. As you will see in the film above, Jace is very good at fighting off double/triple teams as a Defensive Tackle and with his great athletics he is able to make plays on the ball carriers. They try and cut block Jace at :56 seconds and he athletically gets over the blocker to make yet another play for negative yards. In the final play of his short clip from this young season, Jace shows his impeccable speed down the line of scrimmage and tenacity once he arrives at the football. On Jace's Junior season highlight's below, you will see him on the first play read screen and show his keen football senses to make a fantastic play. Jace is able to create a significant push off of the football and create havoc in the backfield. Jace is able to read plays away from him even when unblocked, using his athletic prowess to find the football and supreme football IQ. Sutherland uses his hands very well to detach from blockers that he faces in Kentucky. As a Offensive Guard, Jace is able to show great ability in helping create the pocket and smashing any opponent that comes near his prized Quarterback. Jace is a all-around Student-Athlete and possesses a 3.0 GPA, with a 20 ACT score, while being a dominant interior linemen for the Apollo High School Football team. He has accepted his invitation as a Scout Trout All-American and will be heading to Mobile,Alabama to join us for our Scout Trout Showcase/Game. Our Linemen are nearly set and I could not be happier with the roster we have amassed thus far!

David Dillard 6'2,205LB Class of 2018 ATH Snow Canyon HS - All-American Report

Picture
David Dillard comes to us from St.George High School in Utah, where he has played numerous positions at a very high level, to earn him a Scout Trout All-American roster spot. I was in search of a player with this particular skill set, that fit the "H-Back" mold, as most offenses use this player heavily at the next level. David is able to line up in the slot position and easily gets open, as he finds the gaps in the defense. David is a very good blocker and can also be lined up at the Tight End position, which opens up delay type offensive plays, with his overall skill set. When you watch David play against Pine View High School, you will see also a very keen ball player, as he is able to sell the block and slip open into the gap of the defense. He comes down extremely well from the slot position and creates the opening down the sideline for his team's ball carriers, which Merrill Hoge likes to call a Canalley! In David's Junior campaign, he was able to amass 30 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries and 3 sacks, as a Linebacker/Strong safety, as you will see in his Junior Year film below. When you examine David's overall body of work on the football field, he will be able to fit a variety of spots at the next level and will continue to grow, on and off the field. I want to thank David for joining the Scout Trout family and I am excited to meet you in Mobile,Alabama at the 2018 Scout Trout All-American Showcase/Game!
