Sophomore season scouting notes - Top 2024 FS recruit Jayson Allen has had an excellent start to his young career at Grayson HS in Georgia and has the athletic frame, as well as athleticism that college recruiters covet in top 2024 free safety recruits. Allen proves to have outstanding hip flexion and is able to very fluently flip his hips when dropping into zone coverage while maintaining focus on the opposing teams developing plays to jump passes for interceptions. Jayson is also a very physical tackler when shooting up into the 8-man box to bring opponents aggressively to the turf and does a great job at keeping his legs pumping to finish tackles with outstanding overall tackling technique. Through five games of action into Jayden’s sophomore season he has tallied two interceptions and ten total tackles in one of the most talented HS football divisions in the State of Georgia, while helping lead Grayson into the 3rd round of the Georgia HS Football State Playoffs. Allen will continue to be a dominating key contributor for the Grayson HS football team in the defensive backfield, as he exhibits all of the attributes needed to rise rapidly in the world of college football recruitment.
