Player notes - New Top 2023 Specialist recruit Jacob Lawrence has accepted his nomination as a 2023 All-American Kicker and will be wearing number 17 for Coach Schenk's Team North in the 2023 All-American Bowl game. Lawrence exudes all traits of a top flight kicker recruit and has exhibited uncanny accuracy throughout his illustrious high school football career booting the pigskin at East Lake, as he has worked arduously on perfecting his kicking technique. Jacob is a very pure ball striker and is able to generate excellent ball flight trajectory upon making flush contact, as he exhibits a very consistent & fluid approach when performing placekicks. Lawrence also possesses the capabilities to consistently kickoff deep into the end-zone with excellent hang times and is very adept at directional kickoffs to the corners. When evaluating Jacob's field goal range, he has proven at camps to have the leg strength to strike from 50 yards and in at an extremely consistent level and will be an immediate impact specialist in the world of collegiate football.
