Player notes - New Top 2023 LB recruit Jaelin Hines is one of the most brutalizing & ferocious tacklers in the 2023 football recruiting class and proves to be able to diagnose the offenses schematics instinctively, while possessing the athletic capabilities to rapidly track ball carriers down from sideline to sideline. His outstanding hip flex flexion and mobility give him the capability to quickly sink into zone coverage, as he is one of the more fluent linebackers nationally in pass defense. Jaelin is excellent at picking up running backs coming out of the backfield on route combinations and takes excellent angles of pursuit when bursting to the ball to break up would be pass attempts. Hines was able to pack on 30 pounds since his junior season and has demonstrated the physicality & high motor needed to become a dominating linebacker at the collegiate level.
